I have techno-lust for the Pentax Optio S. It’s a 3.2 megapixel digital camera with a 3x zoom lens, and it’s small enough to fit inside an Altoids tin. In order to get it to be only 3/4 of an inch thick, they had to invent a new type of lens. The elements in the middle of the lens actually slide up into the top of the camera (while the front elements move backward like they normally do) when the lens is closed.
